GRANSVILL JONES

Gransvill Jones is Washington, D.C. born.  Singer, Songwriter, & Musican who had the desires to explore every fact of music and what it really means.  His soulful music and sound demands attention.  Every song tells a story of love that can be appreciated by all and from which something meaningful can be taken.

He shares his love of music with life-long friend and buddy, Producer & Songwriter, Mr. Terry Lewis, of TL Music Productions & Smoke Box Records.  Terry has also written songs for De'javu Records Entertainment, LLC.

Gransvill Jones, also known as " BearMan", actually got his first professional break in the business by R&B recording artist "INTRO", where the late Kenny G "Love" Green took him under his wing while they were on tour.  He got to work with such great artists like R.Kelly, Silk, & Mint Condition.  After that, Bear got a job at Black Entertainment Television, where he became an audio engineer, where he honed his craft working with the late Luther Van Dross, the great Stevie Wonder, Brain McKnight, Boyz II Men, the late Gerald Levert, New Edition, Jill Scott, Jamie Fox and many others.  Gransvill was working with Smokie Robinson when he got the chance to talk with him at BET'S WALK OF FAME, where he asked Smokie, "How did you do it? How did you and Berry start Motown Records?"  Smokie answered by saying to him, "Man just do it.  You will never know what you can do unless you give it a try."  And that's when it all happened, De'jaVu Records Entertainment, LLC was born.
